Ways to reduce or cancel burdensome student loans?

Joining Military isn't an option. Not for lack of interest, because I can't physically pass the medical standards. Peace Corps will cancel up to 15% with 2 years of service, but with the amount of money you're making it's committing you to poverty in order to do it. It's BEST to avoid going into debt in the first place if possible, but easier said than done when trying to pay for college by yourself.
