Why does part of my gum peal?

My gum peals at the roof of my mouth mainly by the gap of my 2 center teeth but sometime in the very center of the roof it doesn't peal enough to bleed but it does peal enough to hurt espesially when i eat. It heals but as soon as is heals it starts to peal again. Why is it doing this???

Just got a new tattoo yesterday. I have some questions.?

I got my second tattoo yesterday. When I wash it and put ointment on it, like I'm supposed to, I can feel the tattoo but this should be normal right now during the healing process, right? I don't really remember too well how it was with my first one. It's supposed to peal and the parts I feel, falls off [peels off] and then the tattoo is flat, right? When I was putting on the ointment today, I noticed some parts I can feel more than others, like the other part just seems flat. I'm really worried this means my tattoo is going to scar up/be raised, once it's all done peeling and healing. Help please. I use A&D ointment. Please and thank you for your time.

Out of state tuition for California universities?

I want to get a BA in general psychology and a masters in social working. I know that normally out of state tuition isn't worth it, especially for what I want to major (low salary) in but I want my permanent residency to be in CA by the time I've finished all of my schooling. I love the state, social workers with masters degrees make more in CA then the state I currently live in, and the weather would be comparable to the area I currently live in (east coast beach town). I don't know. I have so many questions regarding this. But the main question is are the out of state tuition costs worth it if I plan on making it my permanent residence? This is for the California state schools not UC's so the tuition will be cheaper. I'm definitely willing to get a on campus job and apply for loans. I'm not willing to change my major for a higher paycheck, this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. My parents will pay for 1/3 the tuition, the rest I have to come up with on my own and they make too much to qualify for FAFSA.

Should I finance the car or not?

I live in ny I want to buy a car from a dealership that's between 7000-10000 dollars. I have about 4000 saved up. Would it make sense to pay some $ down and finance the rest? My suggestion is to NEVER buy a new bike as your first bike. You WILL drop it and do other damage. Wait till you have been riding for a year then buy a new one if you must. There are way too many people out there trying to get rid of there toys for dirt cheap to go out and get a new one that you can expect to damage. If you dont trust your judgement on a used bike find a good mechanic and negotiate a price to have him check the bike for you as you are looking about. You can always get the current owner to take it to your guy if he is unwilling move on to the next bike eventually you will find the perfect one for you at a price you can pay cash for and wont worry when you drop it.

Should I save or pay off student loan debt?

Me and my husband just got married and I had to use my credit card a little towards the end of the wedding planning. Now that the wedding is over, I'm trying to decide whether I should save or pay off debt. I have a little credit card debt and my husband is in his last semester of school. So our plan is to spend the rest of the year paying off the credit card debt and paying off his last semester of school. The only debt we'll have come January is our student loan debt. But our student loan debt isn't even that much. I owe 10,200 and my fiance only owe $3000. However, we do not have a savings at all. I wanted to build an emergency savings, a savings for a down payment on a home and then our separate savings. Our emergency savings and savings for a down payment on a home will be our joint savings and then we'll have our own separate savings. Is it a good idea to just pay a little more than the minimum on our student loans and put the bulk of our money into savings. I feel so stupid that I didn't work on this earlier. I moved into my apartment July of 2010 and when I moved in my apartment was suppose to be fixed and "ready to move in". It of course was not! Wrong size air conditioner, which they tried to lie and say they replaced it with the right one but all they did was put a plastic border around it to make it look bigger. The kitchen floor alumium was tearing and peeling up...Then of course ROACHES! Which I had no idea about until the night I came home and there was a WAVE of them! All these problems were promised to be fixed but never were! My apartments have had...4 or 5 different apartment managers since last July and. I think I have cockroaches?

About a week ago i was in the shower and saw a shadow of a bug on the shower curtain. turns out it was a cockroach. ive been looking up pictures of the different kinds and i believe it's an oriental. its brown and the wings are shiny. i also noticed some sort of bug on the kitchen floor that i have never seen before. the only way i can describe it is that the body looks like a spider and the top part resembles a crab. could these be baby roaches? it's freaking me out because i found another one of these bugs in my kittens' litter box. i also found a roach in the litter box a few days ago. we got the kittens about a week ago, when i first discovered the roaches. is there any way the kittens we got could have carried baby roaches into my house on them? we got the kittens from a dirty house and we're trying to rid them of fleas. our house however is very clean which is why i'm so frustrated with this recent bug problem. i know roaches do not need a dirty place in order to live. also, last winter i found the same kind of roach crawling on my kitchen wall. after we killed it, we did not see anymore until this time around. any information is helpful, thank you.

Should I quit my job?

I work about 7 hours on Thursdays, then 12 hours on Saturday and another 12 on Sunday. I am 18, WAS about to go to college, but I was depending on a loan to go, buy got denied for it. Joining Military isn't an option. Not for lack of interest, because I can't physically pass the medical standards. Peace Corps will cancel up to 15% with 2 years of service, but with the amount of money you're making it's committing you to poverty in order to do it. It's BEST to avoid going into debt in the first place if possible, but easier said than done when trying to pay for college by yourself.

A question about going to university?

Right, im 25 and have been unemployed since august 2010. I have a son of 6 months and a partner. Currently we live inside a council accommodation that is covered by housing benefit (please don't judge, for 3 months prior to my partner falling pregnant she went to college and worked part time as a housekeeper in medway hospital) as we are currently on a joint claim of job seekers allowance. What if I bought a car in Oregon and did not pay back the full amount on the loan, only the original amount.?

Paid $3,000 down on a car, total value of the car was $9,000, so naturally the total amount left on the loan is $6,000 excluding interest. With interest, I would have to pay back roughly $7,500 back to the bank or loan company. Now paying back $7,500 over 36 months is what is set in stone on the contract. However, what if I pay back the $6,000 to the loan company over 24 months without paying them interest? I still pay them the balance they put up for the car, but they won't make any money on it. At this point, what could they do to me?

Have you ever got a car title loan? what should I expect?

Hello I made the worse decision to not save my money. Now i'm deciding to move into my first apartment and I need a down payment and 1st months rent. I keep having snake dreams?

I know a lot of people have dreams with snakes. But it's like they are following me, I turn on the tv its about a snake, my friend leaves to another friends house and randomly holds a snake. I had a black one in my room the other day in the dream and woke up sweating. Then this morning I woke up from one where it was yellow and purple big mean looking one. The dream is becoming very vague, but someone did killed it then some lady I don't know put it around my dogs neck that i was walking and I'm frightened of snakes so I didn't touch it. I walked down my road and I saw a homie I haven't seen in a while that in real life I saw a picture of before I went to bed. In the dream he said it is time, god is coming soon he's returning to the earth. And I was like amen I'm glad you know, spread the word, then we walked separate ways but I kept wanting to talk to him but I was being pulled away. So I get to the front of my condo and the snake falls off my dogs neck and somehow it freezes into one position, it turned black and it was like sticking with its head up frozen. Then I woke up and freaked out. My aunt used to have snake dream, and it was the old snake from the bible and it was coming after her Kid so a little red headed girl stopped the HUGE pealing snake from taking her son.

I just graduated from nursing school a few months ago and I absolutely hate my job.. what should I do?

I just graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and took a job on a Medical floor. I did my senior (consolidation) clinical on this same floor and I just absolutely hated every minute of it. But a month and a half after I was done that clinical, when I graduated, it was the only place that offered full time employment, so I foolishly took the position- thinking that a paycheck would make it better, it doesn't. I felt like I didn't want to do nursing ever since the beginning of my third year of university, but by that point, I had invested so much time and money into it (and my nursing courses wouldn't transfer), I stuck with it.. Now here I am, completely miserable in a job I absolutely hate with rent and car payments.. I have done clinical placements in non-hospital areas and liked them more- but there are none of the sort up for grabs around here. I just do not know what I want to do with my life, but I'm pretty sure nursing is not it. I went into it because everyone told me I'd be good at it and they were so proud.. but once I got in there, I realized nursing is not what I thought it would be and that I hate hospital nursing. What I love to do is bake and cook! I also love bird watching and biology (birds).. but I have $30,000 in loans to pay off. What should I do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Which of the two universities- City University London or Birkbeck- has a better reputation among employers, students etc.? I'm an international student holding offers to each (so it's too late to consider other unis) and the specific courses are Economics (at Birkbeck) and Financial Economics (at City). Six years ago my wife took out a home equity loan. Her credit was scored higher than mine so the loan was issued in her name only. I was required to sign as 'Grantor", which was explained as needed for them to file a lien on our house for her loan. As the grantor do I have any responsibility for repayment of the loan should my wife default on payments? I'm sure that the lender could foreclose as I technically agreed to that by allowing them to lien on the house. I have no equity and I'm out of equity by at least $70,000 counting the 1st mortgage and the equity loan. A maintenance question for only experienced civil engineers?

Two years ago, I purchased a brand new ground apartment in a building erected on a slopping road. How can I prove that I can afford to make my car payment in an upcoming reaffirmation agreement hearing?

I filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in Michigan. The only secured debt that I have is a car loan which I signed a reaffirmation agreement for. Now I have to go to court to prove that I will be able to afford my car payments. My question is how do I prove I can make my payment to the judge? My parents live with me and my mother was my co-signer for the loan. She plans on going and telling the judge that if I can't make my payments she will do it. She doesn't have a very large income though so I am not sure how much of an impact that will have. I really can afford the payments myself but the way they figure expenses for basic things like food and clothing differ from the way I budget. I spend much less than other people apparently. My skin is pealing on my nose, how can I reverse it?

Ok, soo I admit.. I pop my pimples, white heads, and black heads.. I do it almost everyday, and it's just an obsessive compulisive disorder I have... It sounds like your skin is too sensitive for the harsh chemicals you're using. Go to a chemist & find a more natural cleanser. Sorry, all the brands I use are Australian! Basically, you want to avoid stuff like benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid & azelaic acid. Look for stuff like tea tree oil and witch hazel instead. Use this once a day to start & use an oil free moisturizer twice a day. For particularly nasty spots you can either use a tea tree oil stick or a dob of toothpaste.

Back to college-- when I already have loan debt?

So here's the deal... I'm 35, and I have about 40,000 in debt for a B.A. in political science (pretty much worthless, but earned summa *** laude thank you very much). Since I am having trouble find a good job, I am thinking about going to a community college to get two associates degrees: one in accounting and one in CIS--database analysis. For both degrees, I would have to borrow another 20k, meaning I would have a total of 60,000 borrowed. I picked a Pulyp in my nose 2 - 3 days ago and had a bad nose blead for about half hour, I controlled it with help from a paramedic. Am i okay to go out and have a drink knowing that drinking won't trigger off another nose bleed? (Just a normal pulyp, the doc said it ain't life threatening) My nose still feels a bit sore and sometimes it feels moist in the side i picked the pulyp/pollop, however it is spelled lol however there is a scab there sealing where i picked it, need to know if the scab will peal off if i drink alcohol or if my nose will start to bleed again.

Help with identifying bug?

Yesterday I was on my ps3 and I noticed this bug on the wall. It was kind of longish, brown, and had 2 antennas. My sister thought it was a flying bug but I wasn't so sure because even when I poked it with the broom handle to see if it would fly, it just stayed there. It kinda reminded me of a roach, and now I'm freaked out because HATE bugs, and roaches are just dirty and disgusting, and they carry diseases. The only bug I actually like are spiders. Is this a healing plantars wart? Do I need a doctor?

So I have a plantars wart, I went to the doctor and she scraped the skin that had grown over it and put this liquid stuff on it and I couldn't get it wet for 24 hours. A day or two later, it looked like the wart was getting bigger or another one coming, so I went back and it was just a blistering of the skin due to the medicine she used, but since I was there she scraped some more, got deeper and repeated the liquid thing. It got all white and appeared to be getting better, but I hurt to walk on so I padded it was a band-aid and wrapped my foot, except at night so it had a chance to get air to heal. Then I went to prom and didn't wrap my foot up because the wart wasn't bothering me. After prom I looked at my foot and the blistered skin looked to be pealing so I peeled it off, it came off really easy and didn't hurt at all. The skin that had the blood vessels came off too and under it was this white mucus looking thing.. I tried to pull it out, but it really hurt and it was late at night and I figured if it wasn't coming out easily that I shouldn't mess with it then. Now it's a day after that and skin is healing over this white thing and it still hurts a little, but I'm not sure if I should go back to the doctor and have her look at this to remove it? or just let it keep healing or I don't even know what it is..help please :]

Yes you should be able to consolidate. I was working at a large bank for a while and a lot of people would lump things in with there whether it was debt or medical expenses. I would go into one of the banks and see if you can get a lower interest consolidated loan. It may be tricky but hopefully you can work something out with the bank. One bit of information the process may take a little while and generally they will make it sound like you will be able to get the loan the first time you walk out the door because they don't like to tell the client no when they first meet them so just because the first meeting goes well does not mean that it will go well. If you can't consolidate at least take out a loan for the credit card debt. Anything to get a smaller interest rate will help you. Credit card debt is a killer for the credit score and saving you have to do what you can to cut that down ASAP.

Out of state tuition for California?

I want to get a BA in general psychology and a masters in social working. I know that normally out of state tuition isn't worth it, especially for what I want to major (low salary) in but I want my permanent residency to be in CA by the time I've finished all of my schooling. I love the state, social workers with masters degrees make more in CA then the state I currently live in, and the weather would be comparable to the area I currently live in (east coast beach town). I don't know. I have so many questions regarding this. But the main question is are the out of state tuition costs worth it if I plan on making it my permanent residence? My wall was damaged from a leak. I just found out that the college I transferred from got sued for taking money from students. It was a private college. I had two scholarships (not from the school) that cover and was over my whole tuition and was told that I had to take out student loans. I also had to do work-study. Now that I’m graduating next year, I will have to start paying back the loans. I look over my loan statements and I found out they didn’t sent any of my money back. Can a bank add a months payment to a repossession even if that months bill Isnt due?

So long story short my boyfriend and I have gone through some hardships in that last year, from getting laid off. We have fallen behind on our truck payments but have gotten caught back up and had a arrangement to pay the last payment to be completely caught up this friday. We have our truck loan with Compass bank and today we called to get the balance of what was due friday, come to find out they have placed our truck in repossession. Apparently the payment we made previously was one day late cuz the bank entered it to late in the night for them to get it same day. Anyways as angry as I am I understand the bank has the right to put our vehicle up for repossession, now my question comes into play. In order for us to take it out of repossession we have to pay a fee to get the notice off plus the balance that was still due, not a big problem except the bank is saying that the balance that is due includes next months payment plus what we were planning on paying friday. How does that work our payment isn't due till the 10th of the month, why do we have to pay next months payment when its not even up to be paid yet? Now Im pretty ticked off cuz how is that at all legal? Can someone please help i have no idea what Ima do since i don't have that kinda cash now!

Can i sue my landlord for roaches in my apt?

Okay. So I moved in my apt 2 months ago. I was desperate for finding a new apt so the manager of my apt building accepted my application and I moved in my apt right away. I'm very surprised the salesperson didn't tell you about that. Yes that is the reason it is peeling. You should have lightly roughed up the surface of the walls using a 150 grit sandpaper. Wiped it down using a little a little ammonia,dawn dish soap,and water, on areas like around light switches . Then you should have used an oil based or a water based primer such as Kilz. Doesn't matter which one you do use but for a kitchen, an oil based would be best. Then after it has fully dried, you can go ahead and paint with your water based paint. You can put water based paint over an oil based primer but not over an oil based paint. Also when you rough up the surface, you don't need to do every inch of the walls. Just a quick go over. Usually when I told customers that they had to sand, they would give me a look like they had just eaten a rotten egg or something. You don't have to do it till your arms fall off.If you have,or can borrow a electrical sander it would make the job a little easier. Don't use TSP unless you read and understand their directions.. You must completely rinse if off with water before continuing. There is another product you should look at. That is Liquid Sandpaper. I have never used it but I have heard good things and not so good things about it. You will have to look at the label before buying it. Hope I helped out. Good Luck

We have been living in a apt for 8 months now and we have been infested with roaches and now our couch has bedbugs! Our bed doesn't have them but I REALLY want to keep it that way. Did I just kill a roach?

Is it safe to use baking soda to kill possible roaches/any bug that may be in kid's books?

I am moving out of a roach infested house in two days- I have not seen ANY roaches on or near the books, but the bookshelf is right next to the fridge, so I'm kind of paranoid they might have gotten into mine and my kid's books. I have read that baking soda will kill roaches, so if I put the books in ziploc bags with baking soda and then cleaned them off with wipes or something after we unpack- if it would be safe. I assume baking soda isn't toxic to people, is it? Provided they're not eating spoonfuls or something.

Help!!! Roaches in the Summer time?

Hello..I live in Los Angeles, CA and I have roaches in the summer time. It's the big roach. Yuck!!! I found 3 within the last month. One in the kitchen, one in the bathroom and 1 in the hallway. I am a fair skinned red head, I sunburn a lot I'm used to burning for a few days pealing and being done. I have never experienced anything like this. I just moved to NY and living in an apt building. I think all of the apartment in this building have roaches and they live in the wall. How to call the Health Department on the Apartments I am currently at?

Abandon the word Alright in the first paragraph. It kind of messes with the flow and rhythm. Also easy with the exclamation points. And also I would not use an exclamation point at the end there. Last thing is I would cut the Pacific time ****, because you are going with a first person and maybe its important later on in the story but if time zones dont change then dont use it because when we see the time we simply see 8:30 we dont say oh its 8:30 pacific time ya?
